Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C., much more commonly known as Wolves, is a professional football club based in the British Midlands. With almost 150 years of history, the club has a strong fanbase, not only at home but also abroad. Today, it holds around 31,700 seats and there are plans in place to expand this number up to 60,000.

Crest and Colours

For many years, the club's colours have been gold and black. This choice is based on the motto of their hometown and is well-known amongst those who watch Wolverhampton Wanderers on tv today. Past kits include white and red stripes, which were the St. Luke's school colours. The team also has an all-white kit for when they play away.

The Wolves' badge was originally the same as that of Wolverhampton City Council. This changed in the 1960s when the team introduced the wolf head design, which evolved through the decades.
